Gigaton AI, Inc. ("Gigaton," "we," "us," or "our") operates Band Betty, a web-based music management platform ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Band Betty is a web-based service that runs in your browser. Unlike our desktop applications, Band Betty does not require any system-level permissions (such as screen recording or microphone access) to function. All data is transmitted over the internet to our cloud servers for processing.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using Band Betty, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Email Address: Collected when you sign in with Google, Discord, or email link
Name: Collected when you sign in with Google or Discord (optional)
User ID: A unique identifier created for your account
Profile Information: Artist name, bio, and profile image you provide
Linked Accounts: If you sign in with multiple methods (e.g., Google and Discord), we link these accounts so your data is accessible across sign-in methods

Music & Artist Data

Songs & Setlists: Song titles, lyrics, keys, tempos, and setlist arrangements
Show Information: Venue details, dates, tech requirements, and run-of-show notes
Marketing Content: Social media posts, captions, hashtags, and promotional materials
EPK Data: Band bios, photos, show dates, press links, and Electronic Press Kit content
Audio Files: Songs you upload for analysis, including metadata (title, key, tempo, genre)
Documents: Contracts, riders, press releases, and other documents you upload
Images & Media: Photos and images you upload for EPKs, posters, and marketing materials
Analytics Data: Spotify followers, YouTube subscribers, and streaming metrics (synced from connected platforms)

Important: Your conversations with Betty may contain personal information you choose to share while discussing your music career. This information is stored to provide continuity across sessions. We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information (financial details, passwords, etc.) in your conversations.

Conversations & Memory

Chat Messages: Messages you exchange with Betty about setlists, shows, marketing, and other tasks
Learned Facts: Information Betty remembers about you and your projects (e.g., band members, preferred genres, upcoming dates) to provide personalized assistance across sessions
Session Summaries: Automated summaries of your conversations used to maintain context

Managing Betty's Memory

You can view and delete individual facts Betty has learned about you through the Memory Manager in your account settings. Deleting a learned fact removes it immediately and permanently.

Third-Party Platform Connections

When you connect external music platforms, we access the data you authorize:

Spotify: Artist profile data, follower counts, and streaming statistics
YouTube: Channel information, subscriber counts, and video metrics
Other Platforms: Additional integrations as they become available

We only access data you explicitly authorize through OAuth. You can revoke access at any time through the platform's settings.

Cookies & Local Storage

As a web-based service, Band Betty uses standard browser storage technologies:

Authentication Tokens: Stored in your browser to keep you signed in
Local Cache: We cache certain data (e.g., your song library, recent sessions) in your browser's local storage to improve performance and reduce load times
Preferences: Your display preferences and settings are stored locally

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser settings.

Usage Data

Feature Usage: Which features you use and how often
Session Duration: How long you use the Service
Commands: Types of commands you execute (not the content)
Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifier

Diagnostic Data

Error Logs: Information about errors that occur in the Service
Debug Logs: Technical information to help us improve the Service
Crash Reports: Information about Service crashes to help us fix issues

Purchase Information

Subscription Status: Whether you have an active subscription
Subscription Tier: Your current subscription level (Free, Pro, etc.)
Transaction History: Dates and amounts of your purchases

Note: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not collect or store payment card information.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service's functionality, including AI-generated content such as marketing posts, posters, and song analysis
To personalize your experience with Betty based on your music projects and preferences
To provide continuity across sessions by remembering your conversations and project context
To sync and display analytics data from connected music platforms
To process your subscription and manage your account
To improve the Service based on usage patterns and feedback
To diagnose and fix technical issues
To communicate with you about updates, support, and promotional offers (with your consent)

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We use Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) to store and process data, and Stripe to process payments
AI Processing: Your conversations are processed by Google's Gemini AI to generate responses. Poster and marketing image generation uses Google's AI image generation services. Audio uploads may be processed by AI for analysis.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Public EPK Pages

When you publish an Electronic Press Kit (EPK), the information you include (band name, bio, photos, show dates, links) becomes publicly accessible at a unique URL. You control what information is included in your EPK and can unpublish it at any time.

Discord Community

If you interact with Betty through our Discord server, your Discord username and messages in Betty-related channels are processed to provide assistance. Discord interactions are governed by both this Privacy Policy andDiscord's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account and data directly within the Service (see "Your Rights" below).

Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
Music & Artist Data: Retained until you delete it or your account
Conversations: Retained until you delete them or your account
Usage Data: Retained for up to 2 years for analytics purposes
Diagnostic Data: Retained for up to 90 days

Anonymized AI Training Data

When you delete your account, Betty's responses (not your messages) may be retained in an anonymized form to improve our AI service. This data contains no personally identifiable information, user IDs, artist names, song titles, or any way to link it back to you. Only substantive AI responses are retained; short acknowledgments are not kept.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Delete your data and account directly in the Service
Portability: Download all your data (songs, setlists, shows, conversations, and documents) directly in the Service
Opt-out: Opt out of promotional communications
Revoke Access: Disconnect third-party platforms at any time

How to Exercise Your Rights In-App

Open Band Betty and click your profile icon
To manage Betty's memory: Open the Memory Manager to view and delete individual learned facts
To download your data: Click "Download My Data" to export all your songs, setlists, shows, conversations, and documents as a readable file
To delete your account: Click "Delete Account" and confirm. This permanently removes your account and all personal data.
To disconnect platforms: Go to Settings and select the platform you want to disconnect

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
Encryption of data at rest
Access controls and authentication
Regular security assessments

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Band Betty is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
